We have an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to the SLT and school, actively promoting the ethos and values of East Ardsley Primary Academy.  You will be responsible for the smooth running of key aspects of school administration and ensure that systems and processes are in place to assist with this.

East Ardsley Primary Academy is a two-form entry school in the middle of the local community. We work passionately to equip our children with the skills, independence and resilience that makes them highly effective learners. We promote success for every child in our school, and focus on every child as an individual to give them the understanding, support and skills they need to work together as part of our team.

Who are we looking for?

With excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, you will undertake a range of different administrative tasks from dealing with telephone enquiries to ensuring that records are kept up to date.  You will be the initial point of contact for queries within the school office and provide solutions or signpost to the correct person.

You will have experience of using Microsoft Office packages and know how to use them effectively to reduce administrative burden.   We would like the successful candidate to come up with ideas about how the administrative processes we currently have could be streamlined and work with other colleagues to put these in place.

The post offers challenge, reward and role development for the right candidate. The role will be based at East Ardsley Primary Academy with opportunities to work with other professionals across the Trust.

Leodis Academies Trust and our individual Academies are committed to ‘Forging Young Futures’. • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme providing confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Free parking on site (subject to availability).
  • A wide range of possibilities to develop as a professional, with access to job related learning and development opportunities across the Trust.
