Westerton Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Wraparound Care Manager to provide care and supervision for pupils during out of school hours.  In this role you will provide safe, high quality care for children, working alongside colleagues to deliver age and need appropriate activities for our pupils. 

Who are we looking for?

Reporting to the Wraparound Care Manager you will assist in facilitating safe care for our pupils during out of school hours. You will have experience of working with children of relevant ages, with a positive and calm approach. Within this role you will be expected to prepare equipment for the session and prepare food for the children, with an ability to communicate with children and adults at all levels, you will ensure the health and safety of the children in your care at all times. You will positively respond to duty delegation as required by the Wraparound Care Manager.

You will have good interpersonal skills, be able to work constructively as part of a team and have a natural ability to form positive relationships with children.

The post is based at Westerton Primary Academy and applicants should ensure they are able to travel to the place of work before they apply. Westerton is part of Leodis Academies Trust, a successful Multi Academy Trust with five schools in the South Leeds area and as such there may be future opportunities for career development across the Trust in the future.
