We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join Woodkirk Academy as a Lead Cover Supervisor for the school. This varied role is a superb opportunity for anyone wishing to gain experience in a school environment, possibly as part of their career development.
The successful applicant will have an understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and an ability to communicate effectively with students. Experience of working in an education or school environment is essential.
The postholder will work 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 15:30, Term Time Only.
Who are we looking for?
In this role you will be managing and coordinating the cover room in terms of resources and procedures, ensure that all short term cover teachers/supervisors are clear about the Woodkirk Academy expectations for cover and behaviour of staff and students and provide classroom cover in the absence of teaching staff.
Experience of using Microsoft Office packages, TEAMs and SIMs will be desirable. The post offers challenge, reward and development for the right candidate.
