Leodis Academies Trust is a successful Multi Academy Trust with five schools in the South Leeds area. We have an outstanding opportunity for an Operations Manager, based at Blackgates Primary Academy. Reporting to the Principal, your role will be integral to ensuring the smooth running of Blackgates’ operational and administrative functions.

The pupils at Blackgates are a cohort with higher SEND and disadvantage than the national average. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to make an impact leading and developing support services at Blackgates.
You will be expected to be pro-active and develop constructive relationships. Under the guidance of the Principal, you will be a key point of communication and liaison with both internal and external stakeholders, agencies and professionals. As part of a multi academy Trust, you will also work closely with the central team on aspects of the role.
You must have significant administrative experience and experience of line management which will help you shape the operational functions of the academy and lead staff. Ideally, you will have a qualification or experience in one of the areas detailed in the job description (Health & Safety, Estates, Finance, IT, HR). As this is a wide ranging role, we see this as a development opportunity for someone who matches the person specification and will provide training/support to the person appointed to the role.
You will be able to deal positively and effectively with staff and other stakeholders at all levels across the Trust and external organisations. With the ability to lead, organise and motivate a team, you will be flexible and have a can do attitude. You will have a desire to constantly evaluate and improve your own practice and learn from others as well as the ability to work confidentially and with diplomacy.
